A MAN has been charged with cannabis production after an early hours police raid at a Southend industrial estate.
Officers from Essex Police's operational support group carried out the operation at a unit in the Grainger Road Industrial Estate in the early hours of Tuesday.
Police say a large quantity of cannabis was discovered in the property.

A suspect was arrested at the scene in connection with the drugs.
Now, 38-year-old Alfred Neru, of no fixed abode, has been charged with producing a controlled Class B drug.
He appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and was remanded in custody to appear at Basildon Crown Court on May 24.
